Check it Out! SFC’s Learning Commons Featured in, “Reimagining Library Spaces.”
The Learning Commons at Santa Fe Catholic High School was recently featured in Diana Rendina’s book “Reimagining Library Spaces.” Diana is an award winning school librarian/media specialist from Tampa, Florida who is well known throughout the country for her work in school libraries and makerspaces. Diana’s book encourages readers to rethink their own library spaces and how schools use these spaces to improve student learning. Rendina describes Santa Fe’s learning commons as a “vibrant, active space frequently used by multiple groups of students and classes at the same size.” And she calls the learning commons “the hub of the school.”
