It is getting to be crunch time for our Seniors!  100 service hours are required for graduation (or 25 hours per year for transfer students).

Here are some agencies that always look for help:

• KidsPACK– packing food for food insecure students so they can eat on the weekend. Packing takes place everyday, and KidsPACK is located about 15 minutes from SFC. Students can pack food from 3-4 p.m.  Welcome to kidsPACK, Inc. | Hope and Charity for Children | Polk County
• VISTE– Volunteers in Service to the Elderly is located about 5 minutes from SFC, and has many different programs, from food sorting, grocery bag packing and distribution, as well as things you can do from home- make birthday cards, flatten plastic grocery bags for reuse, etc. VISTE – Volunteers in Service to the Elderly
• Crystal Lake Elementary– located about 5 minutes from school, we have had a recent request for volunteers:  Mondays from 3-5 helping with our Garden Club and Wednesday from 3-5 helping with our Intramural Sports. contact ecoppolo@heartlandforchildren.org|
